Mostly, due to some technical issues, we often do not receive the WordPress admin email change confirmation mail.
Without the confirmation email, we cannot change the admin email of the WordPress website.
So, how can we fix the issue?
Recently, when I tried to change my WordPress Administration Email Address, I was unable to receive the confirmation link email to confirm the change.

Without confirmation, the new email does not become active as a WordPress administration email address. As I wasn’t receiving the sent email, it caused a lot of distress for me.
However, after much struggle and research, I found one simple solution to fix this issue.
Let’s learn how to fix it and change WordPress Admin Email.
Method to Fix ‘WordPress Admin Email Change Not Sending Confirmation’
A simple plugin will help you change your WP admin email without any confirmation email required.
Follow these simple steps:
- Go to Plugins ⇒ Add New
- Search the Plugin Change Admin Email

- Install and Activate it.
- After activating the plugin, simply go to the WP Settings ⇒ General
- Now, enter the new WordPress Administration Email Address. This time, WordPress won’t send any confirmation email & you will be able to change the email by simply clicking Save Changes.
Other ways to fix the issue include making tweaks and changing the email from the Cpanel of the Hosting. However, that may seem a bit intimidating and technical process.
We only recommend you change your email using the above-mentioned plugin.
